Terms & Conditions for Car Rental Zanzibar

Please read these terms carefully before booking with Gravity Zanzibar Car Rental. By completing a car rental booking, you agree to the following conditions.

Cancellation Policy for Full Prepaid Bookings

If you cancel your booking 48 hours or more before pick-up, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pick-up will not receive any refund.
No refund will be applied for unused rental days once the rental has started.
You can cancel your booking via the "My Bookings" section on our website or by sending a cancellation email to info@gravitycarszanzibar.com.

Non-Refundable Cases

The product is non-refundable in the following circumstances:

You did not inform us of the cancellation prior to your scheduled pickup time.
You failed to pick up the car at the arranged time and date.
You fail to provide the documentation required to collect the car (valid driving license, IDP, passport).
You failed to provide a credit card in the main driver's name with sufficient available funds for the security deposit.

In all of these cases, you will receive no refund. Gravity Zanzibar Car Rental reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who fails to arrive at the scheduled time with all necessary documentation.

Amendments

You can amend your booking in the "My Bookings" section on the website at least 48 hours before your rental is due to start.
An amendment fee of $18.00 USD applies to all changes. If you purchased Cancel Protection, you can amend your booking without this fee up until 1 hour before the scheduled pickup.
Amendments to pickup/drop-off location, car group, rental period, or driver's personal details may affect the rental price. The new price may differ from your original quote.
Rental prices are based on the pick-up and drop-off times and dates arranged before your rental starts. If you pick up the car later or return it earlier than arranged, you will not receive a refund for unused hours or days.

Rental Requirements

Minimum age: 21 years old.
Driving license: Valid driving license from your home country plus an International Driving Permit (IDP).
License history: Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
Identification: Passport or national ID required at pickup.
Payment: Credit card in the main driver's name required for security deposit at pickup.
Insurance: All rentals include basic insurance. Additional coverage available on request.
